What the vitamin code is is just vitamins the way they are in nature with their cofactors that help them to do their jobs efficiently. For example, let’s take beta carotene which the body converts this into vitamin A. In a lab, scientist cannot include the co-factors such as alpha, beta, gamma, and delta carotenes. However, companies still sell beta-carotene. The body attempts to build by adding the missing co-factors it knows should be there. Those missing cofactors must be replaced by the foods we eat or from the body’s reserves. This vitamin already has the cofactors necessary for proper assimulation.
It gives you energy, and you feel it all day. You know, sometimes you feel run down around 3 or 4 in the afternoon. Well, not with this one. It also contains probiotics which makes this a really great value. I know the probiotics are working because I have really healthy bowel movements – not loose bowels, but more of a natural feeling. Kudos to Garden of Life.

I tried Vitamin Code for about 2 months. I started feeling exhausted and spaced out after taking them recently. I became concerned and researched a bit more about the company. I’m not the only one who has these symptoms from their products, especially Primal Defense. This company sold the business after Jordan Rubin had 2.5 million dollars in debt. In addition, he was sued in 2004 for claiming things that were unsubstantiated. He has pretty poor business ethics. I switched over to New Chapter. Country Life Realfood Organics is supposed to be good, too. They are both certified organic, which Garden of Life is not… there isn’t any USDA seal or anything listed certifying their ingredients. Both the other companies list their certifications and have the USDA seal (and have been making vitamins for around 30 years). Garden of Life is not GMP certified, which technically means they are not audited and no one really knows what’s in their products. You’re just trusting what they say is in them, which made me very nervous after the research I did just on the internet. There are far better companies out there selling whole food supplements who have their certifications and are GMP certified, too.

I suffer from two chronic illnesses and have a very restriced diet. I am unable to diguest any raw food without an adverse affect. So, needless to say I need vitamins to make up what I cannont get through food. I have tried many types of vitamins, but I still felt tired all the time. I was also sick all the time and always had a flare due to my UC. I thought this was how life was going to be for me. Untill one day, my doctor told me about these vitamins. I was very reluctant at first. They are very expensive for me. But after the first month I was taking them there was a noticeable difference. I felt better and had more enrgy. My flare subsided and my other illness went into remission. I am now on less RX. I also have not had any common illnesses since I started taking these. As a teacher, being exposed to anything and everything, this is wonderful! I strongly reccomend these vitamins to everyone. They are worth every penny!!!

I’ve been trying all kinds of Organic vitamins for about 10 years and I can truthfully say that these have worked the best so far. I have much more energy, and these don’t upset my touchy stomach either. The only downside is that it’s a little pricey at $1.00+ per day. These have given me a great deal of relief from chronic fatigue syndrome.

I wanted a vitamin that made me feel healthy and energetic. Vitamin Code does just that. It’s not a nervous, jittery energy that some “vitamins” cause you to feel. It just gives you a kick in the pants and makes you feel good and strong.
